"Attention Northwest Fitness Company Members:As you all know, we are facing some difficult times. We have just been informed that we are on the lower part of the "essential list." In our opinion, there is no person, more or less essential than any other. Our main focus is now, and will always be the safety and health of our community. We know that when people exercise regularly, practice appropriate eating habits, and maintain a healthy body composition, they improve their overall health. These habits increase longevity, boost immune system, significantly reduce risks of age related injuries, and maximize mental/physical functionality throughout life. Over the past 20 years, we have dedicated our lives to encourage as many people as possible to practice living a healthy lifestyle.We have put a significant amount of thought and consideration into the following decision. We are a small business and currently have been forced to shut down. We have been classified as "non-essential," and are forced to stay closed until 1 person decides that we matter. The difficult part for us is that we made a commitment to our families and community that we would provide a world class fitness resource center that delivers the highest level results. We have been silent long enough. We have given plenty of time. We have sacrificed everything we can. We are getting no help. We have to stand up. We will not go out without a fight.Beginning May 5th 2020, we are inviting any of our NWFITCO members to join us. We will be "exercising our rights" to peaceably assemble. We believe all businesses in the United States should be able to be open and fully operational. We are inviting all members to come down to the Fitness Center, Monday's through Saturday's from 8am to 6pm to help us "exercise our rights."We will do our best to responsibly allow people into the Fitness Center. We will do our best to limit numbers at any given time. We will be adding additional measures to our already rigorous cleaning routines. We will be asking that any protesters who enter the facility will wash hands upon entry and before departure. We will post additional signage to promote individual cleaning of all equipment, before and after each use. We will do our best to practice the best hygienic habits.If you want to join us to exercise your rights as well, we will post the protest hours below. If you do not want to join us, it is in no way required. We appreciate your support and loyalty during this difficult time. Our goal is just to be able to open our doors back up, so ALL our members have a place to go. When we started this business, we never imagined that this was a battle we would be fighting.
